I feel the verses in his heartbeat
Couplets of rhyming words undress me to the white meat
Tingles down my spine...he makes my knees weak
Like warmed chocolate melting bit by bit
I think that I'm in love, and I like it
Is this how it feels?
Is this really real?
Tell me if it's real?
(I'm chained to lyric with no need to be free
Cuz he's my poetry)
His kisses are berries sweet upon my lips
A touch of pumpkin spice with honey...nice
Or am I only dreaming of this? It's bliss...
He's like music now, I hear it loud
Playing freely in my ear, and my ear only
Is this how it feels?
Is this really real?
Tell me if it's real?
(I'm chained to lyric with no need to be free
Cuz he's my poetry)
He's my poetry, he flows with me
We ride the rhythms in the waves of his ocean
Free...like birds in motion
I'm just hoping we keep blowing and keep growing
Like the trees we're steady toking and passing yet knowing
The poem is real... This passion that we both feel.
